Governance
The smart contract is immutable. Everything outside the smart contract is governed by the community and organized under Swiss law.
The Three Layers
Understanding EverETH requires distinguishing three independent layers:
Contract Layer — Immutable
The smart contract itself: fee logic, reflection mechanism, LP token locking. Cannot be changed by anyone after ownership was renounced.
Ecosystem Layer — Evolving
Development around the token: dApps (UniFlash, Omnia), community programs, marketing. Currently founder-led; transitioning to the Swiss Association.
Organizational Layer — Planned
Legal structure, treasury management, formal governance. Currently in an interim phase, with the Swiss Association (Verein) founding planned for 2027.
Current Governance Status
EverETH is currently in a pre-association interim phase:
Transparency Note
The current interim governance represents a trust dependency on the founder. This is explicitly acknowledged. The planned Swiss Association and multi-sig treasury are designed to reduce this dependency, but these structures do not yet exist.
The Swiss Association (Planned 2027)
EverETH is organizing as a Swiss Association (Verein) based in Zug, Switzerland — the jurisdiction known as "Crypto Valley" for its established regulatory framework.
Association Governance:
- Legal representation and continuity
- Multi-signature treasury management
- Partnerships and business development
- Branding and communications
- Ecosystem tool development
Immutable Boundaries:
- Protocol tax (12%)
- Distribution ratio (10:1:1)
- Reflection mechanism
- LP token locking
- Total token supply
Important
The Swiss Association is a planned future structure. It does not yet exist as a legal entity. Its founding is intended for 2027 but is dependent on future actions.
Fair Launch
EverETH was launched as a fair launch protocol:
